2021 Summer School Teachers

Summer employment is based on student enrollment, summer school experience, commitment to entire session, endorsements, and principal recommendation.  Employment status may change during the employment dates.

REQUIREMENTS:       

• Valid Indiana Teaching License
• Preference will be given to current GCS Teachers

DATES AND HOURS:  

June 1– June 4, Tuesday through Friday; June 7-June 24, Monday through Thursday. 

8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 

72 hours of employment (with planning) – 66 hours of classroom instruction

SALARY:       $40.00 per hour

ANTICIPATED NEEDS:

• Algebra - Bridge Class for incoming 9th grade (1) and Algebra IB (1) 
• Physical Education (1)
• English Language Arts - Bridge Class for incoming 9th grade (1) 
• IB Extended essay supervisor (1)
