School Nutrition Delivery 

POSITION PURPOSE:  Under the direction of a Building School Nutrition Manager, drive a company truck to deliver meals and food service materials and supplies to satellite locations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

• Drives truck from Prairie View, West Goshen, and Chamberlain to St. John’s, CCYC, Goshen College Kindergarten and Merit
• Picks up and delivers prepared meals and supplies
• Loads food and carrier containers with prepared meals, coolers and heating units into delivery truck and unloads at various locations
• Returns to each location to pick up empty carrier containers

REQUIREMENTS: 

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Safely moving objects carts on wheels weighing at least 50 pounds
• Withstand a wide range of temperatures
• Verbal communication skills; understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Work independently with little direction.

HOURS:  182 days per year; 17.5 hours per week; 9:00-1:30

SALARY:   Beginning Wage $14.42 per hour with an increase after 90 days – rate is dependent upon education and experience. (Schedule 37-4)
